Finished planting them, by the time October gets here each year , I can't see the pots! I found the vintage little pot buddy water spouts at a ceramic shop in North Carolina. I moved my chives to the top, they came back from last year.

It's so great way for a small space! It's just a 6 foot rebar pole from The hardware store. you hammer 1 foot in the ground, use any pots with holes in the middle, I like clay, slide the biggest pot first,plant your flower or herb, the just keep going up, I have 3 in a row the same size this year, til I got to the small ones on top.no wrong way to do it.
Connie Sue you can also Google tipsy pots, instructions and pictures will come up. I saw it in a magazine.

Do you ever have critter problems with it? Last year something kept digging up my pots (I'm guessing a skunk or raccoon). I also have a lot of squished flowers from the cats.
