These were so good from an apple Cookbook that was a gift from Winnie. The older recipes don't have as much sugar as today's do. They were just right, not too sweet.

Those look so yummy Connie Sue! I made some of the hot buttered apple cider from that cookbook about 2 weeks ago and my kids absolutely loved it. I have made it a couple times since. Now I will have to try those muffins.
