I threw down some wildflower seeds this spring in the garden and most of the seeds never sprouted, but I had some poppy seeds that did! They are so pretty! I have always loved the red ones but now that I have pink and white I love them just as much. Sadly our wind gets a little too strong for these delicate flowers and they lose all their petels.

I love how 'my' poppies just sort of pop up willy-nilly in my Iris patch and my garden.. My all time favorites are the orange "California' poppies... Gee, I wonder why? heeheehee!

I want to have the whole rainbow of poppies now! I think I will be putting some in the front yard this next spring!
