One of my favorite things about spring is the new farm babies! Our first spring calf was born yesterday. A bull calf:

Any one else having any spring babies yet?

I name my milk cow and calves, but a few of the beef have names. We do tag them so I can keep records. I take pictures too incase they lose their tags.

Michele, so precious! I'm so glad y'all share your pictures here so we can see them.
It was my dream to own a small farm, health issues changed my plans. It wasn't meant to be. I'm blessed to live on 3 acres of woods.
Both my grandparents who raised me grew up on farms, and some of their siblings became farmers. So I got to visit the farms as a little girl.
I know those of you who farm and own livestock work hard!
