I know we have had this topic before, but the thread is lost in time, and I didn't want to search for it.

Today my next-door neighbor's kids came over to gift me two bouquets of long stem baby carnations. One red and the other a deep rose. Bruce is in the 5th grade and his sister Tippy is in the 3rd. We talked about him having his last game of football at 5pm today and Tippy is a cheerleader. Both like and are good at math. Their mother is doing a good job teaching them to be givers, good manners, and how to communicate with others.

Wanda, I do worry about some of today's youth and how they are being raised. So, Bruce and Tippy give me hope.

I love this Sara. Such a blessing and encouragement to know there are other parents teaching their children kindness and how to show that to others.

Sara that was so kind of the kids. I am sure the flowers brought smiles to you every time you looked at them.

I wanted to say a huge thank you to Maryellen for the thoughtful Christmas package that you sent. It has been on a journey to get to us, but it made it safely this week. It went via Bend, OR - forwarded to my sister-in-law in Washington State - then forwarded on to us here in Australia. I have been getting delayed Christmas cards & parcels for the past 2 months, so it's been lovely to have an extended holiday season. I am always grateful for Farmgirl Mail & grateful that the postage service has found us here.

I wanted to give a shout out to my dear friend, April! As many of you might know, April & I lived just down the road from each other in Central Oregon. We had previously connected on the MaryJane Sisterhood chatroom, then were blessed to have 2 1/2 years together when my husband & I moved to Oregon. I miss her very much now that we are back in Australia, but I know that we will always stay connected through our letters, surprise parcels, emails, prayers & this forum. I'm sure many of you have developed similar friendships all thanks to MaryJane. She is spreading the farmgirl love throughout the nation & throughout the world. Today, let's be grateful for MaryJane & our sisterhood friendships. I miss you April!!

Yes Cindy, MaryJane has certainly made me an all around better farmgirl. I do my best to accomplish at least one RAOK every day.

Dearest Cindy, I just saw this thread and your note, YES!! Thank you, Mary Jane for connecting and inspiring so many. Technology is definately bitter sweet, but in this case, the sweetest of sweet. I miss you too, Cindy. Central Oregon is not the same without you. Hopefully 'apple' will connect our faces again soon! Work in progress! Until then...XO

Krista, I have been saying it for over 10 years that one day a Farmgirl will move to Coos Bay or closer anyway. But I am Blessed to have 2 Farmgirls that live i n Oregon, but many miles away, use to be 3 until Cindy moved.
April and Cindy that is a beautiful photo of you. I know how much you two miss each other.

Thank you to my sweet chemo angel Debbie Fischer for the box of sunshine that made a bad week much better. It's amazing how knowing that someone cares makes you feel so good.

You girls are bringing tears to my eyes, perhaps I'm just plum worn out, been under the weather, but being back on the forum a little more often, reminds there is still so much kindness and love in this crazy world. Debbie - YOU are so full of love and compassion for everyone you meet. You are such a special soul!
