Did anyone participate in this year's apple pie Sunday?
I didn't make a pie this year, but I did fry up some apples and add whole berry cranberry sauce for dessert. It wasn't too bad :)

Oh goodness Heather, I completely forgot! The month of September got away from me. I didn't make anything with apples. I will need to make something this coming week to make up for it. Your apples and cranberry sauce sounds delicious!

Unfortunately we were out of apples but I did eat a banana if that counts.

Yes we did! Apple dumplings and they were tasty. Unfortunately our apple tree did not produce this year due to drought conditions so I didn't get to use our own apples but enjoyed celebrating just the same!

Sadly, I was out of town this year and missed our Apple Pie Sunday celebration . Heather and Denise, your easy apple recipes sounded tasty and that is what counts!
