Hi all!

My daughter has painstakingly worked on a baby quilt for hours and hours. She used some old thread to baste the layers. The thread has bled onto the fabric making small dots and smearing the color onto the quilt…is there ANYTHING she can do to remove the stains.
TIA. :)

Karen :)

To quote one of my past preschoolers “Not one of those Karens, but a good Karen”! Haha

Hi, Karen! I was reading one of the other topics, and another Farmgirl said that her son spilled red jello on his white shirt. She couldn't get the stain out until she tried rubbing alcohol. Maybe that will work on the quilt. I would try it on some of the scrap fabric before I tried it on the quilt. . .but, maybe that will work!

I agree with Nancy! That was my son lol! Give it a try and see if it works. I hope it helps. I am so sad to hear the thread did that. I hope she can get the stains out.
