Grace I am half Irish, so I am ready for my St Patrick Day dinner. Have my corned beef brisket, small red potatoes, and the star of the dinner along with the corned beef, cabbage.

My corned venison is curing in its brine, the cabbage is in the fridge, and the potatoes are in the hanging basket. I think we are ready.

Last year was the first time I did a corned beef. It was good but this year I'm going to remember to soak overnight in water to remove the extra saltiness. I've wanted to do venison and remembered just in time this year working around DH's surgery.

My kids used to love breakfast for dinner nights when their dad was working late. Their favorite was French toast and sausage.

I have all my ingredients ready for celebrating on Sunday. Definitely a celebration day as we both love our Irish heritage. Since he is half Irish and I am half Irish I guess that makes our kids half Irish too! We all love to celebrate it!

OK Sara and Judith.. I have nay a wee drop o' Irish blood,,, Only German & Welsh runs through my veins... so... I will have to send my Hubby of English & Irish decent to you ladies for a St Patty's day dinner of Corned beef/venison and cabbage... lol!
