I didn't know 35 years ago when I planted the King Alfreds that they do not Multiply. I learned that after noticing a few years alter that they didn't seem to multiply. I'm glad I planted about 40 bulbs. Each Bulb has 3 to 5 blooms every year that come up in the Same place, they do not spread at all. They are Big and Beautiful and Stout! Connie #3392 Imagine....

Me too Sharon! Dawn, I was so surprised when I read that! Sara, thank you! I don't have as many as I use too,I have about 8 places with Daffodils. I love the miniature ones. They don't take up a lot of space, they multiply but not rapidly. this group are wild ones I dug up from an old farm house that was gonna be torn down. There was 1000's of them. Every year people would come and pick them. The farm house had been empty for years. They are all gone now, when the road was widened in both directions. People came and dug them up for days before the bulldozers came in. It was sad. 36 years ago when I moved here I loved seeing the Daffodils bloom, there was also a big red barn. There would be artist with their easels set up painting them. The Beekeeper for the farm set up his hives under the old 100 year old trees on the part of the land that escaped the bulldozers. The family still owns that part they still farm corn and cotton. Connie W. |

Thank You Winnie and Michele, I got my love of flowers from my Granny. Winnie and I have discussed how much our families are similar, they both, farmed and grew flowers. Our growing up years are so similar, we could be related somewhere down the line! Connie W. |
