I remembered when I was first married I bought some fabric that was 26 inches. Very early 60s. They must have had that fabric sitting around in the back room for along time. It was seersucker and I made star quilt blocks with it. At least I tried to.

Oh Judith… seersucker fabric was my favorite go to fabric in the mid-late 1960’s… I still love it but it is nearly impossible to find except in antique stores or on eBay- Etsy… Give me a pink/orange plaid seersucker fabric sun dress and I am in hog-heaven!

Wow! I haven't used seersucker for years! Always loved that material. Haven't seen it forever. Given enough time, I'm sure they will bring it back....
There is never a road so long that there isn't a curve in it.
