Umm, did you have the cocktail before you started sewing? Cocktail looks yummy! I will be right over.

I have been trying to get a crochet pattern to work. I am following it, I have drawn it out, charted it etc. I want to say that the pattern is incorrect. but . . . I might just change it.

Sometimes it's just time to sit down with your beverage of choice and your seam ripper and put a good movie on the tv.

lol! Finally got my project finished…
And now it’s time for a ‘Libation’ and kicking back in my recliner and start reading through the
craft books I picked up from the library…
Happy Friday evening to you all!

Happens to me all the time! Well with crochet anyway. I don't even want to count the amount of times I have ripped a project out. I am happy to hear you got it finished! Have a great weekend relaxing.

Grace, that sounds like a typical experience for me every time I try and sew! It is beyond frustrating sometimes. I do remember when I was learning to sew that if I started having a bunch of problems, my Mom would tell me to just put the project away and try it again another day when you aren't so frustrated. That was hard for me to accept, but she was so right. Now, I try and follow her wisdom and not be so determined to finish what I was doing. And the funny thing is, the problem in the first place seems easier to solve and stuff doesn't keep goin haywire . At least old age brings some good changes!! LOL!!!

If a project frustrates me too much I put it in a bag in the closet. Now and then I take it out and think about it. Usually I'll look at it with new eyes and finish it. If the bag hangs around too long I'll give it to goodwill.
