I knew or felt that something was not quite right! I used to get lots of mail even junk mail and that has practically gone to nothing. Then I get my mail in bunches instead of a few here and there pretty much daily.
I have an empty box a lot now days. Even no junk mail.
The other thing too, you know something is going on when you get all your Christmas cards from everyone who live in different states on the very same day. I am so glad I received my beautiful Christmas cards from everyone.
This has been happening for quite awhile.
Not good!
We just have to watch closer. Especially with more business mail

I don't know about whacky but they are definitely getting lazier.
I'll be sending my Christmas gifts UPS instead.
