I love aprons. I thought it would be fun to do a fall-themed apron swap. I also love mini-aprons. I have about 10 fall ones that I hang in my kitchen, but would love some new aprons to add to that.
So, I thought it would be fun to do an Adult and Mini Apron swap! I know not everyone can sew, so I thought the Adult apron can be sewn or store bought. For the mini apron, those who can't sew have used pinking shears to cut it out, or they will glue down the edges. I would like to suggest around 4" for the half size mini aprons, and 6" or so for the full mini size.
Details: make sure that the aprons are fall themed. You can swap more than one apron, if you'd like. Let me know in the signup how many you'd like to swap. Signups will be until September 15th, and mail out will be October 1st to give everyone time to buy/create their apron. If you need ideas for the mini apron, you can go here: https://www.pinterest.ca/pin/72902087710208603/. I think they would be a wee bit small, but I think the size could easily be changed. Tucks are allowed - but not required.

I would love to do this but I'm concerned about having enough time. AND I've never actually sewn an apron....but I want to! lol Does anyone have a good, simple pattern for a 1/2 apron? That might be good to start with. Oh I could just check the patterns at JoAnn's I suppose. Yes, that would be a good idea. lol
I will enjoy watching to see what everyone creates and perhaps I'll give it a try and create a calico apron this fall when I get time. Then I'd be prepared for next years swap. ;)

Hi Jennifer! You can buy a 1/2 apron if you'd like and just no-sew the mini apron. There's many ways to do it - fabric glue, pinking shears etc.

There are a lot of easy aprons on Pinterest. I’ll look thru mine and see if I can find you one.

I just went through my stash of fabric and just happen to have a yard of Autumn themed fabric.

Joyce, not sure how long it will take for you to receive the package, I doo have a tracking #, but once it leaves the States,, I don't think it tracks anymore..
I have the same issue when I send packages to Germany,, once they leave the States,, I just have to wait and hear from family that they received the package,,,
I will let you know when I receive your apron...
