So, I was wondering,, what is your favorite hobby-crafting of choice?

I use to be an avid Cross stitcher, until my eyes got bad...

I do enjoy 're medial' quilting and crocheting... Also stenciling and simple painting projects...

Oh and of course YoYo's... lolol

I like to work with wool applique. I find it is forgiving with my hand & eye coordination problems because of MS and maybe the fact I turned 81 in March has a tad to do with it too.

Grace…I’m with Denise…how to pick just one! Lol. If I really and truly had to pick it would be Papercrafting…but I revived my love of sewing again sooooooooooo! :)

I’m glad we live in a world where we don’t have to choose! :)

I love drawing and painting but crafting? Very hard for me to decide between the things I love to create but easy for me to say the least favorites are sewing, crocheting, knitting, tatting. Slow stitch, quilting. Can't sit long enough to try those. ;)

Well, so many I have tried to choose from - favorite is quilting and other sewing projects. Also enjoy crochet and knitting. Have done cross stitch, embroidery and crewel, but like Grace, eyesight isn't what it used to be.

I think I have tried almost all crafts it seems over the years. I do what I have a need for, or a desire to do. My favorite would be working with wool, I think. Hard to pick just one.

Ok, so my least fav... is Tatting and the One-Stroke painting... ( who remembers the Donna Duberry painting method??)
She made it look so easy... I took the class, bought the Video (VHS) and all the fancy brushes and skill matts... and my butterflies still looked like Drunk Moths!!!

I still love cross stitching,, I am going to order the 11ct Aida cloth so I can see the grids better...
I enlarge the pattern, and use a yellow hi-liter to mark of the stitching as I go..

Oh my, Gracie. I guess I would say sewing and papercrafts are my favorites.
I used to enjoy cross-stitch and beading/jewelry making, but those don't go well with my Parkinson's and glaucoma anymore.
Life certainly brings changes doesn't it!

It's impossible for me to pick just one. I have so many crafts that I love to do that it would probably take a solid paragraph or more to name them all.

hugs,

My favorite would probably be crochet and cross stitching. I also really enjoy quilling but I haven't spent a lot of time with that yet. But I have so many other things I want to learn, so who knows, I may change my mind in the future.

I started with cross-stitch and tole painting. Now I enjoy paper crafting, junk journals, and learning to be more proficient at sewing and quilting.

I would say sewing and crocheting are tied for the top spot for me. I also like paper crafting and I'm enjoying relearning to knit. I'm not sure it's a craft but I also LOVE to bake!

When I can sit for a while I like to quilt and when I can't I like to upcycle things, which could involve paint, fabric or paper.

Diana, Everleigh has one of Grace's owl creations! That was back in April of 2020!
