What a fun time at the ocean with my dog, Frankie. I had time to write my book. It's on mt life experiences and how God got me out of them with His love and grace. I was so blessed to be able to have this time away. I'm planning to take another retreat in a few months. I felt so relaxed and feel refreshed. Frankie is six years now. He was a good buddy to hike on the beach and chase the waves for sand dollars. We found a lot; I am planning on cleaning them up and making collages with them.

Carmen, your beach and writer retreat sounds like a lovely time and a productive one too. Congratulations on getting your personal biography completed as well. When you finish your sand dollar collage, post a photo so we can see how it looks.

Sounds like a beautiful time away. How wonderful you were able to work on your book. We all need time away to relax and recharge sometimes.

I had a great time at my writer's retreat. My dog Frankie and I walked the beach every day, all eight days. It was a lot of fun! I got my rough draft done, all typed up. It was a challenge to write and remember my life with certain people. I had to take a break from it and rest by the ocean waves and chase the waves with Frankie. We picked up sand dollars and angel wing shells off the beach. At nighttime I decided to watch some DVD's. I watched some movies that I hadn't watched in a long time. I tried to watch the T.V. movies but all of them were crappy. I enjoyed the time I spent resting. Not having to take care of everyone including my hubby. I do feel calmer than I have been in a long time. I looked at the ocean the fullness of it all. It made me think of all of my tears over the years of my life. I do think the ocean holds a lot of my tears. I did feel like Yeshua/Jesus was calming my spirit and mind being there. It was so quiet.

Well, I'm about to take off for my Writers Retreat again. I'm excited but this time with no dogs. I will miss them badly, but I know I'll get a lot more done this time. Maybe to the point of getting an editor to look at my life journey of experiences book. Then they can nit-pick every word I write. So, they can let a publisher now of me and speak good things about my book. We'll see!! To go a have time to write but also to have some rest away from the rat race around me. Gosh! It sounds so so good to me. I'm going to the ocean again, so lots of walks on the beach and finding shells and bird watching. I've been praying and asking Jesus/ Yeshua for an R.V. glamper for me. It would be a lot cheaper and fun! Thanks for reading. May Yeshua Bless you all indeed this springtime.
