I just came across this and think it's a wonderful idea! Has anyone else heard about this or found one of them?

I’ve seen things on Pinterest but I’ve never found a heart when I have been out and about. :)

Someone brought this up sometime last year. Several farmgirls were making some to put around for people to find.

Yes, aren't they sweet. I've seen them around here in different places like the library and the post office.

I have a knitted "worry worm" I found on a wooded trail when the pandemic began. There was a poem in the baggie with it stating everything is going to be okay and that the worry worm will help whoever finds it deal with whatever is stressing them. I have to say my worry worm has had quite a workout these past 3 years (can you believe we've been dealing with the pandemic this long?. I have even lent it to my youngest son when he is preparing for tests and exams. I think a quilters heart would be well loved by whoever finds them.

Sounds like I'm late to the game, but better late than never LOL! I've seen a few painted rocks in my town, but never a heart.

A worry worm sounds like a great idea as well! I might have to look into that. I know a few people that could use one!

Yes!! Heather, I have been linked to them via FB for about 6 months now! I've never found one but have several cut out and ready to do some slow stitching on. I think its such a fun idea, isn't it?

We've ( Sara and I) painted all kinds of rocks during Christmas and scattered them through Enterprise but no one ever posted thier find. We went back to our hiding places and they are all gone.

Dawn, I've never heard of a worry worm and find it fascinating! I'll have to look that one up! :) I'm happy it came along to you and your family at a needed time!!

I've never heard of this. Thank you so much for sharing. This is something that I definitely want to do. I think I am going to be making a lot of hearts in the future.

hugs,

I haven't heard of this either. I have heard about the rocks and actually found some a couple of times. My kids and I want to make some rocks for this summer. I like the idea of the hearts. Maybe one day when I can sew I will be able to participate.
