I've had a starter since 2020 (it was part of my coping mechanism when having to stay home). I've learned how to make several different types of breads, biscuits and even cookies. Any Farmgirls faithful sourdough bakers? What's your favorite discard recipe?

I too started during the Covid months with sourdough. Now I bake something weekly and love the Pantry Mama's discard sandwich loaf and dinner rolls. I bake the dinner rolls in my cast iron frying pan. Pictured are dinner rolls, mini loaves (made from sandwich loaf recipe), I divide into 3 portions and flavor with different herbs and spices, and sandwich loaf. All are Pantry Mama recipes. This morning I made her sourdough discard pancakes.

Yum, how. I love sourdough breads! Gail, those look absolutely delicious! Jenn, I'm not an avid baker just a hit and miss but sourdough anything is my go to! Awesome to 'see Gail! :)

The bread looks so yummy Gail. I have not had a starter or made Sourdough bread since our military days.

April, check out Pantry Mama, she has a great website with so many sourdough recipes from the beginner to the advanced (daring)!

My favorite discard makes sourdough pancakes. I have one go-to recipe which the family loves. Makes a 10" boule. Disappears in a day
