| I recently bought an old Janome 646 sewing machine. Does anyone know where a person could find a user manual? I searched Internet Archive, google, etc. but couldn't find anything for free or any pay sites that looked reputable. Any suggestions? |

Carol,, check and see if there are any "Janome" sewing groups on face book... sometimes there are groups that have all kinds of valuable information and tricks of the trade to share..

Usually on Janome.com you should find something. A couple places it also says New Home 646. Maybe try that.
Is it a Serger or sewing machine. There is a 644D but it is a serger.
You could also contact a Janome certified service center to ask about a manual.

Linda,, I agree,, checking stores..
In Spokane, There is a quilting store that sells Janome machines..
Also, sewing machine repair shops, might be a good source ...

Thanks for all of the great advice everyone! Linda, I think you're right, that the New Home 646 is the same machine as the Janome 646. It's just a basic zigzag machine. I'll check out the Facebook group, Grace. I didn't think of looking there!
