Lmbo at your comment about driving here faster than managing through MJ's blog, Barbie! I was like that at first too!
So happy you like it!! I loved creating it and I was having a very huge creative slump until Jean posted the swap! It worked! Have a wonderful weekend! Thank you for letting me know*

So, Dianna, now that Barbie has her book, how about posting the great video here that you made of it?

I created a monster getting my 10 yr.old granddaughter involved. Now guess what she wants to do? You got it, she started one of her own journals as a gift for someone. Though I am getting the cover and pages ready and she will be doing the decorating. Her sister was here yesterday picking out things for me to print off for a journal we are working on together. What have I done? Well I think the creative gene is trickling down from the 3 generations before me to the second generation after me! I'll make farm girls out of them yet! Lol!

Denise, that sounds like me...the last semester I worked. I was in a fifth grade class of boys and girls. The girls would not listen, got the cart before the horse, etc. But the boys were so sweet. One little boy. Brought his junk journal back to school after everyone had taken them home. His mom was so pleased with his efforts...she had made prints of photos of meaningful events in his life. He had glued them in his journal. Another boys mom stopped me in Walmart and thanked me for helping her son, who was a bit "slow", she
Said it really raised his self esteem.
Everyone had at least two signatures, some had three.
They used every drop of scrapbook paper, as well as all the junk we could come up with.
The girls, five of them, theirs were a bit messy, more than the rest, but all 25 had a product to take home.

Marilyn that is so heartbreaking. I hope they find her soon.

I'm no where near done with my journal. My goodness I spent a few hours just looking through my papers, and other stuff. I have 3 or 4 pages done, or maybe when I look at them again tomorrow I will decide they aren't quite done LOL I'm loving this swap. Thank you Jean!

I craft on my kitchen counter. Right now, that place has the spill over of dirty dishes that I haven't been able to get to. It will take at least 2 hours to do all the dishes. I have asked Lowell (DH) to clean a few. He will never do them all because he doesn't like to take the paper labels off the bottles, nor does he know how to clean the zip lock bags. He could do the dishes when he was single so why not now? GRRR!

Men forget how to do a lot of things when they move in with us. Laundry, making the bed, dusting, throwing anything away...... something about cohabiting erases memory. So far mine still remembers how to cook, for which I'm very thankful.

Mine only does dishes or anything house relate I'm sick.

Jean, these girls are just feeding my addiction. I have downloaded so much stuff to my computer to print out that I'm surprised the computer can hold it all. It is definitely becoming an epidemic for sure!

Marilyn, what grade were you doing the journals with then?
So sorry to hear they haven't found their daughter. Is it a runaway case or abduction do they think?

Ed does his own laundry, helps vacuum and clean, and is a good outdoor cook. He will rinse off and put his dishes in the dishwasher, too. I guess I'm lucky. Mail clutter is another thing. Lol!

I am also nowhere near done with the junk journal. I need to take apart a few pages of the journal to better work on them; one slides out easily and I guess the other 2 are glued so have to work on that. I also have to download some good background pages. I have gone through and pulled lots of ephemera. This will take a while. Lol!

I ordered some of the Avery glue sticks from Amazon and they arrive tomorrow.
