Freezer got unplugged. It was full of meat. How do you get the smell out? Will baking soda do the trick?

Betty try wiping it down with white vinegar; let dry; place baking soda in several containers in the freezer to absorb smell. May take more than one time to get all of the smell out. Good luck. I know you are heart broken over the lost of all the meat.

Charcoal NOT the kind with the starter fluid on them; I placed paper plates with a few pieces on every shelf and run the freezer.
