Hi everyone! I just found out about maryjanesfarm from a friend and am so excited to find so many like minded people! I live on a twenty acre farm with chickes, ducks, turkey, sheep, cows, rabbit, guinea pigs, goat, dogs, cats, pot belly pig, birds, and a pet rat. I love to garden and can anything and everything and am always looking for a new recipe. I have an herb garden and I make lots of medicines for myself and my family. Herbs are my passion altho I do all the usual farm girl stuff: cook, crochet, sew, etc. I love to read in my spare minutes. Am looking forward to meeting all of ya'll!

Hi and welcome medicinewoman! Glad you found us! I love Arkansas! I have visited and vacationed there many times. Eureka Springs is one of my favorite places! It is so quaint and old fashioned! Where in Arkansas are you located? Your farm sounds wonderful. Jenny from Kansas

Welcome Sherry! It sounds like you have a bunch in common with many of us! I am very interested in herbs and am learning every little bit I can from everywhere. Hope you don't mind me picking your brain from time to time!

Welcome to the group, Sherry :) My mom was born in Beedeville, and her grandparents owned and ran the general store in Hickory Ridge back in the 40's and 50's. I don't know how far away those towns are from you, but Arkansas is definitely in my ancestry
