Where are they and what are you filling them with? :D I'd just like to live vicariously through you, Shannon, and imagine my dh making some for me!

Aren’t the guys sweet when they give us exactly what we want without us having to ask for it? How many window boxes is he making for you? Are they the indoor boxes or the outdoor kind?

I have to agree that that is wonderful! But isn't pretty much anything they make us divine? My love is currently making me a set of shelves for the living room, you know the ones in pottery barn that look like they're leaning up against the wall, yup, those ones, and they are almost done, and beautiful!

They are actually the big garden type boxes. Like 4ftx6ft something like that. I have a pic on my blog. They are going in the vegi garden and I will eventually put a white pickett fence around the whole thing. There is enough wood to make alot though so I might have him make a few bigger one's to put some of my theme gardens in. The places where I want to put the theme gardens have grass right now. Boxes would be alot easier.
Yesterday when he came home and started making them, I felt like we were engaged again.:) What kinds of things get your hearts beating faster? hehe

Good luck with all the new plantings. Theme gardens sound like fun. Isn't it special, when our guys do some little thing that makes our hearts pitter patter! Michele |

Does it sound really lame if I say coming home to find that fiance did the dishes and vacuumed without me having to ask?
When I was in the hospital before and right after Nora was born- Fiance went home when nothing was happening and cleaned the house for me. It was wonderful to come home to a nice clean house :)
Unfortunately I think I am more of the craftsman than he is, so I don't think I will ever come home to him building something for me. Perhaps I will build something for him once I get my tools!

That's what we will be making for our garden!! I cannot wait. Our yard is just not cut out for growing veggies. We're hoping that raised beds are just the trick. Fill those boxes with lots of yummy veggies, Shannon!!
