Yes, Grace is our Yo-yo Queen because she makes so many things with them and accents lots of her projects with them too!

Speaking of YoYos.. I just sent off a package with a finished yoyo project to a surprise recipient.. she'll know who she is on June 10th unless the P.O. fails me!
I had a brain-fart moment and forgot to take a photo,, DUH!
I LUV yoyos..
this one was a combination of Feed sack and cotton, for a feed sack swap last year.)
(a little 'keep my hands busy' project from last year...)

Grace, I love seeing all these pretty yo-yos that you have made! My Mom made one into a bedspread for a single bed that was just beautiful. It went to my oldest sister to enjoy many years ago. I can't even imagine how long it took her to make enough of those little yo-yos to make a bedspread??!!!
I think I had a yellow yo-you like the photo when I was about 8. There were no little girls my age in my neighborhood so I grew up with the next door neighbor, Bobby, as my pal. We played marbles, sledded on snow days, and he taught me how to work a yo-yo and even do Walk the Cat trick. I remember practicing over and over to be able to do that trick!

Guess what arrived today! What a great surprise. I pinned it to a curtain to see how it looked and I just may incorporate it into a curtain. Scooter and I loved how the light comes through.

Judith, what a gorgeous yo-yo panel that Grace made! The colors are beautiful .
Grace your talent for making these adorable yo-yos is amazing! And the fact that you can make them while watching TV is really impressive. If I tried doing anything while watching TV, I can assure you it would be all messed up@@LOL!! My brain only seems to do crafts with undivided attention.
