Easter has come so quick this year... I haven't even put out any easter decorations, first year EVER... I'm a little sad, disappointed, but honestly, with a week to go, not sure it's worth pulling all my decorations down now. Perhaps I'll just go buy some tulips and easter lilies and spread them around the house this year. We will of course, color eggs. Guess that is what happens when you're one day a time these days. Always counting blessings, though. xo

My grands are 1. boys and 2. too old for Easter. LOL! Of course, they will like any candy they get.

My kids are grown and we won't have them here to celebrate Easter. Since they grew up and left home, Easter has never been an important time to come home like Christmas is. I still love to decorate a bit and so I do just so I can look at the little things I have collected over the years. I am still a kid at heart!

We are getting super excited! We have now hit that competitive stage where the boys will rush as fast as they can to get the most eggs lol! Since my mom has 3 grand boys all that age, we decided to buy different colored eggs and each child will be assigned their own color to collect. Making each kid get the same amount. I’ll have to help Bexten get his eggs and then eat his candy for him lol!

I’m excited to see how it works. My mom even got colored baskets to match their eggs.

What a great idea! Now why couldn’t I think about that back in the day?!?
