A while back Marie (churunga) and I initiated an exchange. I had some crochet books for barter and I traded her the books for a couple crocheted clothespin dolls like those in one of the books. A week or so ago I received the super cute dolls from Marie - and I LOVE them!!!

Below is a picture of the cutest dolls she made. She also included 2 additional dresses, a cute origami star, tea, a dishcloth pattern, and a lovely note.

Thank you so much, Marie!

Everyone is so kind. Thank you. I am humbled by the gratitude.

I have started a business I call Heritage Handmade Crafts. The business makes and sells handmade items using craft techniques which are universal and recognized. Some of the techniques may be in danger of being lost. I strive to use as much repurposed, recycled materials as possible. And ........... I don't know what I am doing. Production time is so limited and I have so many ideas.

I am asking for help. I currently sell some small amount of my stuff at The Art Shoppe (theartshoppemgm.com) here in Minneapolis. I do not know how to get a shop onto Etsy or if I even want to or how to use Instagram to get pictures out there. I don't need to make a ton of money. I just want to fulfill my obligations. I want to make items that are one of a kind and have the input of the customer regarding color choices, etc. I also need ideas for display and packaging.

I will subscribe to this thread and consider your counsel. Also PM me with ideas and encouragement.
