Last Monday, the New Hope School opened to replace the old school where so many children were killed last October. They had been meeting and learning in someones house for all that time. The school is in an entirely different location. Four of the five girls were able to start school again. The fifth girl, as my neighbor Annie puts it, is semicomatose. She can't walk, talk, or do anything and all day and all night she makes an incredible grunting noise. She does seem to know her parents and her siblings. They truly believe that she is in constant pain and that's why she emits these noises. Parents walked their children to the new school and went to pick them up. The only difference is that this new school has inside locks on them. Contributions and donations have not only paid off the doctor and hospital bills but also built the new school. Annie says the children were very excited. Please continue to pray for the little one who is home unable to do too much of anything. Thanks again, for all of you who sent donations and for your prayers. We all appreciate it very much. Susan

Thanks so much for the update, Susan. I will certainly be in prayer for the little one who seems to be suffering, as well for her family. This must be incredibly hard to witness.
It is wonderful that so much money was donated for the hospital bills and school.
Our love goes out to all in the community who have suffered in this tragic event. We are also happy they they have bounced back and are doing well again.
God Bless them!

My prayers have gone out!! That was a awful thing and I sure hope someday that girl gets past it. It must have been horrifying for her, I really wished the world was not so evil. Our children deserve so much better!!!

thanks for the update Susan, I saw a bit of it on the news. They all still need our prayers but especially the girl in all that pain.

she selects wool and flax and works with eager hands Prov.31:13
