I'm so excited to see the photos - this is a wonderful time of year for close-ups, too!

Does "macro" include the close-up mode on a non-fancy digital camera? (I've got a Kodak Easyshare, which has been anything but easy to use may I add!)If it does, I'll be there.

Amie,
Look for the button that has a flower next to it.

Thanks Rachel...I had nothing on that. I was going to say...let's try it and see what it does. That's what I do when I dont know what a particular button does. Take a photo...push the button...take another of the same photo...push play and compare the two. Looking forward to everyone's photos!

Amie,
You should be able to tell by looking through the view finder and if the image automatically focuses then you can shoot it. Get really close to the subject and give it a try. If is does not autofocus, then you probably do not have Macro on your camera. Usually it will have an "M" setting, this stands for Macro.

Hope this helps.
