I am ISO (In Search Of) *expired* license plates for crafting and photography projects. I have tons of Hawaii and Florida "Orange." There are some that I am looking for more than others - specifically:
~ Indiana "Kids First"; ~ Illinois "Organ Donor", "Breast Cancer", "U of I Alumni Assoc", "Scarecrow Festival", "Metropolis Superman Festival", "Deer" Outdoors or "Fish" Outdoors plates; ~ New Mexico Children's Trust; ~ Idaho "Bluebird"; ~ Florida "Challenger" or "Manatee"; ~ California (yellow numbers on blue plate); ~ Boat or Motorcyle plates. ~ Any other plate that you think may be of interest that I don't have listed here!!!
I have scrapbooking & rubber stamping magazines, scrapbooking pages (12x12 or 6x6 finished, you just add photos), rubber stamps, to offer in trade. I can also offer $5.00/plate plus s/h.
I'm one of those *weird people* who makes other things with license plates to keep 'em out of landfills. ~ K

I love seeing old license plates around in artwork or re-used - I don't have any, though! Here's wishing you luck on your search!!!
XOXO, Libbie

Hi Kaylyn, have you ever seen the picture that uses license plates from each state that are cut into the shape of the state and then pieced together to form a map of the USA....pretty cool looking. I have also seen journals that use license plates for the covers and purses made from them too. You should post a picture of your project to share with us!
