Just enough to look pretty, but the sun is out now and it is melting. That is the magic of a Virginia snow. It seems to snow only on the ground and not on the streets! LOL I got some great photos though. The Cardinals and Woodpeckers are loving this!!

Georgann, THANK YOU for posting the photo, not only to see your cute little snow bunnies, but to help hubby and me make our minds up NOT to go to DC this morning like we had planned......we wanted to walk in DC and do some sightseeing, not snowboarding! Another weekend! Stay warm, and here is a big hug to help! Nance |

My mom lives in Lovingston (Nelson County) and said they woke up to two inches as well! Dad got up first and went in the kitchen and saw it. He yelled DEB COME QUICK so she rushed out of bed thinking something was wrong and saw a yard full of snow!
We had flurries two nights ago here in Arkansas and a pretty good freeze last night. I covered all my plants but there are a few that don't look like they made it. Guess I will be replanting! oh well! It was in the 90's last week so who would have thought!

Eeek! It was 76 here today. If my garden saw your lovely photos, they'd go toes up. What crazy weather this year. Love the cardinal!
We make a difference. |

Loved your slideshow! Beautiful shots.....
Brought back some memories of a couple of snowy Easters from my childhood in Ky. Thank goodness it was a very rare event - the egg dyes would get wet in the snow, & the kids all ended up with messy hands & stained Easter clothes after the Easter egg hunt.
It has been unseasonably cold & gray here in the San Francisco ?ay area. We're hoping it will at least be dry in the morning. |
