For anyone who wanted to join the current RAOK list but missed out, this list sign up is for you. I'll be moderating the RAOK 2 List and will be sending out a list in one week - so sign up now!
Please send me the following information - full name, screen name at MJF, email, mailing address and a paragraph or so telling us about yourself, what your hobbies/interests are, what you collect, what you dislike or any allergies...etc.

Erin, I have a copy of the list compiled by Rhonda..if it is o.k. with the gals signing up with list number 2, I'd like to have their info as well..the way I see it..the more the merrier. And I'd like to be able to add them to my Christmas card list and just be able to send out RAOK to anyone I can/when I can. It's alot of fun, and I love getting to know All of my farmgirl friends.

There is something very heartwarming about random acts of kindness - you all are wonderful... It's this type of thing that makes this Farmgirl Connection so special - the true caring that's here. I just love it.

I will send everyone on this list a copy of this list, plus the first list. And I will forward a copy of this list to Rhonda for sending to the folks on her list. This is being done because the group has asked for a copy of both lists, so that they might be able to send stuff to folks on both RAOK lists.
NOTE: You are not obligated to send something to everyone on both lists, but please, please DO send a thank you note to anyone who sends you something...
Remember the spirit of this list is RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS. This might be an email, a note or card in the mail, a small gift or something you think that the other person might enjoy. It might be a phone call (for those who included their telephone numbers...)
Last time, we had a very nice time getting to know each other and surprising one another with small thoughtful gestures. This is merely a chance for each of us to reach out to other farm girls and to share the kindness and "pass it on."
You cannot know the power of this - at any given time, one of us could be suffering a loss, having a bad day or worse, and a small gesture of kindness might make the world of difference. Or we have had a great day and just need someone to listen and share in our accomplishment!
That's the concept behind this...

Sorry about the delay with the list. It's after 4 am right now. I've just finished the list after receiving the last of the info I have been waiting for and will send out the list after my client meeting in the morning. I'd do it now, but I've been up all night working on a client project due tomorrow (well, really due today.) I'm really exhausted, so please forgive me if I wait til later on today to send it out... But I have it done!
