Oh, April, He's a handsome fella! I love the name Manly - I have loved little house on the prairie for EVER!! Still watch it, my favorite comfort show, grab a fuzzy blanket, my fur baby and I'm happy for days. My family just completed our DNA last year, both my grandfathers were adopted so we weren't completely sure of our ancestry on their sides... turns out I'm English and Scottis, since then I have fallen in LOVE LOVE LOVE with the highland cow. Oh my goodness, their long tassled hair melts my heart!

I just love, love, love farm babies! He is a handsome one and the name is perfect. Enjoyed seeing his momma and daddy. Thanks for sharing that.

What a cutie! Aren't the babies just the best!?! Our calves don't start coming until the middle of April this year. I can't wait for them to arrive :)

Such a cutie!! We live on my husband's family farm but haven't had animals in more than 20 years. I am hoping to talk him into having cows again as we get our house built closer to the farm buildings.. I am hoping to get Dexters for both milk and meat. They are a smaller breed, not bred to be small, just naturally so. Keep your fingers crossed for me, I am pretty sure I've got him on the ropes now. This is a picture from the farm I hope to get them from.
