Been sending out a few cards, love doing this.
Still lots of snow here. I'm working on finishing two
afghans. That will make eight all together, guess thats
enough. Then there's all the embroidery and can't
forget the books.
Went grocery shopping this morning, boy you just about can't
afford to eat anymore. But grateful for all that I did get.
Kitty is fine, Grand children and grown kids all good.
Richard not doing great, he takes very strong pills to
treat small nodules in his lungs and a spot near his kidney
for cancer. The pills make him feel kind of flue like. But
he keeps going.
I had one of those small cans of coke with a few M&M'S.
Could explain the longer post.

Hi Nancy, enjoyed reading about what's going on at your house. Will keep Richard in my prayers.

I too like the small cans of Coke. They are just the right size for a mini treat.

Not much going on here. The sun is out and the snow is melting. We were forecasted for a hard freeze last night but it stayed west of Paris so that's a blessing. Good day to piddle so that's what I will be doing. Hanging on to my peace and piddleing. Life is good.

8 afghans! That's impressive! I made 4 one year as Christmas gifts and haven't tackled another one since LOL! I'll add Richard to my prayers.

Sara - I'm a tinkerer myself LOL! How are your heaters working out for you this winter? I didn't realize TX had so much winter weather. I really thought snow and ice was more of a fluke that a regular occurrence for you. We're covered with a beautiful blanket of snow and luckily the wind stopped blowing so much because it's cold out (10 with a windchill of -1). Great day to tinker in the craft room LOL!

Heather, the heaters are working great. Haven't had to turn on electric central heat. Paris is in the northeast part of the state so we get our share of bad weather. Feb is our worst month for ice, snow, and single didget temps.

Enjoy tinkering. A while ago the postman delivered an order of craft paper from Amazon, so I will be making a paper chain to go on my seasonal mini tree for spring.

Nancy, Prayers for you and Richard. So nice to hear what's going on at your house. Yes food is so expensive now a days. Jim works nights and my grown children are all well and my teenage granddaughter is doing well. I go back to my GI doctor for a follow up. a while back I was very ill and bleeding in my stomach. Had no symptoms then started throwing up blood. Long story short- ended up in ICU had 2 units of blood and an iron transfusion. Ended up with several upper GI procedures. The first one showed bleeding ulcer in lower part of stomach. It is healed now. but have to take special meds to keep any bleeding at bay. So much better now. We have had temps in the mid 20's for 3 nights in a row know. They say it will start warming up on Monday.

Hugs,

Hugs & prayers to both of you Nancy. That is a lot of afghans, I bet they are beautiful. We had summer here over the weekend in Chicago but reality hit last night and we woke up to a coating of snow. March has always been a wild card here. I am going to bring up my spring/summer decor and swap it out with the winter that is currently up. No matter what nature throws at us it will be bright and colorful in my house.

Enjoy your mini coke & m&m's treats! Always fun to have something from our childhood.
