We are leaving friday morning early for our trip (usually annually..did't go last spring though) to Calif to visit family and friends. I am so excited to see my three oldest grown boys and my little granddaughter too. As well as all the other family and friends there. We will be staying at my freind of about 23 years house..we always do..such fun. The kids are excited to go the the beach again. I can take it or leave it..growing up in a beach town I NEVER found it that exciting. I can hardly wait to eat GOOD fresh strawberries though!! There are strawberry fields forever there where I grew up and they are the best!!
I won't be online much until the 14th. We will be home late on the 13th. I may be able to come visit just a little on my friend's computer if I can find time though.
I have a good friend here who will feed and check on my critters and pay attention to Mona like she needs. I am betting Katiedid and her kids will come over and visit her too.
My hens are laying about a dozen eggs a day now..whew! hard to keep up!!
You gals be good while I am gone!!!

Have a wonderful trip - I'm sure it will be fantastic! We've just said goodbye to our strawberries for the year, so have some for me! I just can't wait for strawberry season every year.

ENJOY YOUR VACATION!! It's so hard to tear ourselves away from "work" and critters. I'm proud of you for going and hope you return from your recreation "re-created." Have fun! Okay, now I'll be singing the Beatles song all day. "Strawberry fields forever."
