Farmgirl Mail arrived for me last night from Andrea and oh what fun I had! The stash included pretty fabrics, ribbons, lace, vintage buttons , regular buttons, 2 kinds of embroidery floss, vintage spool of thread that is made of wood and looks like it fits on a sewing machine as the bobbin, needles and needle threaders ( a must have these days!!), a cute old fashion sewing machine picture on a book mark, and it all stored in a nice DMC vintage looking sewing box. Also, she took a photo of a wonderful old red barn(be still my heart!) and made it into a note card. So fun!! Thank-you Andrea for such a wonderful ,fun and useful haberdashery exchange!! I will have fun doing projects with these new extras.

Well, I'm going to try this again and see if I can send a photo of my marvelous Haberdashery box from April (Dreamer42). Not sure what my problem is because obviously others are able to upload their photos . . .  .jpg?v 58898205) Yaay, I think it worked today. Photo can't do the lovelyness of this beautiful Haberdashery collection justice. Thank you sew very much dear April.

Thank you Denise for the wonderful haberdashery box! You included such great items. Can’t wait to use some of them. Lol. The buttons might just stay on the card to look at!!! . Ignore the mess in the background we are in the middle of a whole downstairs remodel. Kitchen has final coat of mud and ready to prime tomorrow. I hope.

Marlene, thank you for the tin with lace, ribbon, buttons and needles. Also the Gooseberry Patch cookbook chicken pattern, card and numerous fabric scrap pieces. I will post a picture if I can. Thanks again!

Thank you Winnie for the wonderful package! There were fabric squares - my favorite on top, buttons, pretty trims, little bells, safety pins. DMC Perle in colors I love, clothes pins, tea bags. Sewing needles and she made that adorable pin cushion!
This swap has been so much fun!

She made the box and stuffed it full of goodies!!!
The fabric is beautiful! And look closely what she did for the buttons:

Here are some images of the beautiful things I received from Sherry. Thank you so much! I love everything you chose. I'm not quite finished with yours. Hopefully my Advil will help and I will have my second wind.
Some of the things Sherry included in my box were: fold up scissors, a needle threader, some sewing needles and some labels. Tulle, so soft, two vintage lace pieces, an off white fat quarter, some white lace, some wrinkly off white seam binding, ( I love this stuff). A bit of Washi tape, a spool of narrow lace, two vintage wooden spools with some thread remaining, three beautiful pastel colors of embroidery floss, and more...Yoyos, a new tape measure, some little sewing themed clothes pins, and some needles already threaded wow, I did not know you could buy them that way. Also there is a little design stamped on linen to embroidery, along with three colors of embroidery thread and the vintage instructions...what fun! I love it all.Sherry.
I'm so sorry you lost your mom! It has been over 24 years since mine went with Jesus. I remember going to the phone, picking it up and beginning to punch in her number...then realizing I could not call her anymore!

Dear Jean, Oh my goodness!! Do I love my haberdashery!! THANK YOU! I've never seen anything quite like it! I'm attaching pictures, but not sure they are going to be clear enough or close enough, so I will describe: Jean sent me a little quilted bag attached to a wooden embroider hoop, adorned with doiles, like a wall hanging with a little chick pin cusion dangling off by a loop, with rick rack, lace wooden scissors, wooden thread bobbins and embroider floss that are all attached to make it one piece. SOOO absolutely charming! Additional notions, fabric, tea, apron and slipper pattern print out, fabric envelope which contained her special note, and a darling little bar of soap wrapped up in a doily pinned together by a rhinestone broach. Be still my heart. Thank you, Jean, for something so unique and lovely. Such a treasure for sure!

Oh April it did! I'm so sorry I thought I posted it here. April sent
me the sweetest little haberdashery giftie! Here is a photo. It has threads with buttons,and sweet little fabric hearts, fabrics and laces and it's in the cutest little holder decorated with pearl beads and a little key. She made the sweetest tag too! I hope you can see it all in the photo. It's just beautiful! Thank you so very much April!
