Twenty two swappers waiting anxiously to discover who will be their partner... add last minute touches, then next week we will be dashing off to the postal center to mail. Ladies, in our smallish town we have a business named Pack 'n Mail Plus.
It was started about 25 years ago by a young mom.
She recently moved her business to a larger building. Anyway I love to go there. True a book of stamps is $1 more and packages do get pampered and cost a bit more. But when I sent my recycled denim package to Gwen. It only took 3 days to get to her. If you do not count day one...because it was lunch time when I dropped it off...and the postal workers come later in the afternoon...the trucks leave town about 6pm...then it was only in transit for one day!!! Delivered on the third day. Just thought you might like to check and see if you have a nice place near you.

Wow, Marilyn what a Gem you Pack and Mail. The post offices is just so slow. I must check and see if we have something similar here in Coos. Thank you for the tip.

Ahhh, we are not as blessed as you my friend! Very small po, very few workers, very slow moving mail but it WILL get to its destination via priority. Looking forward to the swap. I've enjoyed putting it together for sure! :) thank you April!

We are lucky here in Loleta to have one of the better post office’s here in our County. Friendly mail worker who should be
Postmaster but they won’t let her take the position. Poor lady has been swamped. It’s not a real small place but she has had packages surrounding her more so since this pandemic started. She tripped and fell the other day. But she does her part even when the Postal service is slow.
It’s going to be worse with Christmas mail coming. I just wanted to give a complement for her. Besides she is out my back door. And she will bring my mail and packages to me. Anyway my package is ready to mail to my swap partner next week.

Wanda Sue, I had way too much fun today putting your Sewing Kit together. The tin is over filled I had to use packing tape to hold the lid down, I might have over done it a little bit, oh well. I hope you enjoy what I sent you as much as I Enjoyed putting it together.
I can not wait for next year.

Winnie and I have exchanged addresses. Oh my gosh, I fit everything into a priority box to ship. I have these nice new shipping labels and I was so happy to finally use one. I put the label on and started taping the box around the corners. When I flipped the box over I saw To & From stamped on that side. Not sure how I missed that, the box was flat and I had to fold it to put it together. So in case you are wondering why there are two address labels on the box Winnie, that's why. I'm starting to feel my age!
