I'm working on scrapbooks, embroidering napkins and towels and crocheting an afgan for a wedding gift.

little crochet projects, but embroidery seems to be calling my name next. Im into anything that can be thrown into a totebag and taken outside. (that would nix sewing on the sewing machine)

Felted wool purses in spring colors- from sweaters, of course, little baby toys from the scraps, knitted dishcloths- because you can't stop making them once you start, my doll for the doll swap- still on the paper I drew her on, but about to become a reality! (And just in the nick of time too!) Plus, getting outside and seeing everything in bloom gives my creative parts a bit of a jump-start. Changing colors, beautiful blossoms, things popping up in various stages...It's a beehive of activity out there! Who couldn't be inspired by that?

Botanical dishes for an upcoming event. I know how it is to need a little boost of inspriration to get the creative juices flowing. Hearing other's creative ideas is always a help!

Spining hand dyed silk, crocheting a large tote bag that will be felted and then embellished to carry to the farmers market, Hand stamping "Thank You" cards for my customers to tuck into their packages when I ship them out, silk rods are on the stove in the dye pots, and I will be making more stich markers. I am not sure what I will be doing tomorrow but at least I know what I have planned for today. Inspiration is sometimes slow but when it comes it can wash us away. Enjoy!

I haven't been doing much in the way of crafts lately. Can't seem to get motivated for that, but I have been redoing my dining and living rooms this winter/spring. Painted the living room and the dining room trim, then put up new wallpaper...roosters of course! Then put up wainscotting and a border. It really changes the whole feel of the house, I love it!!
Now I'm just in the mood to clean out everything for spring. Open up the windows and air out the place!!

I'd rather live my life with a "full plate" than an empty one. Life is not a rehearsal... eat up!

embroidery has caught ahold of me again this winter, also making tea towels and pot holders from a pattern I bought at clotilds (fun to make with any fabric you like) I always have a quilt in progress, and I'm teaching quilting in 4H.

Purses, totes, with lots of pockets and buttons. Easter cards made with vintage German scrap, polka dot fabrics, and buttons. And pastel-colored gift 'cones' hanging on ribbon and bedecked with crepe paper medallions and buttons. (I always add buttons!)

I have posted on my blog site some pictures of the Mohair that I
dyed on Thursday. The moment I finish something like this I get a ton of inspiration just as long as there is not paperwork to do, laundry to fold or dinner needing to be cooked. Hope you enjoy the pictures.
