BECKLES does any one know what happened to her as I haven't heard from her on any of the posts when I asked people to check in. I am wondering if she dropped out of the group if that is the case you may get two of one item as I will still send 12 items to everyone as the ones that are to go to beckles I would just spread amongst the group to make 12, that is if I don't hear from her by the time I have all of the items for both groups.

beckles just check in by email hers should be in the mail mid week life had been a little crazy for her. So we still have her in the group so that is cool. Thanks for checking in

Sunshine...just a thought here..has your daughter been tested for the
Helicobacter pylori bacteria?
It can cause alot of stomach problems..and sometimes dr's just don't think to check for that.
I believe they have to do a breath test as well as a blood test to check for it.
My husband had it and had to take a doseage of pills for about a month or so.
It can be quite uncomfortable all of the effects it has on the tummy.
But I was just thinking..that might be something you should mention if they have not checked her for that.
We have a friend going through the whole meds thing with it too recently.

Girls in group 1 I need your help to figure something out.
celebrate2727 has had a delay on the curing in her item and wanted me to send everything on without it then she would send extra postage for her item to be sent later as that is a lot of extra postage I was wondering if. All of group 1 didn't mind waiting a little longer for her item thank you for responding to this.
Just so you all know it is me sunshine asking for this and not celebrate2727 she wanted it sent on.

I'm flexible - whatever works out the cheapest.
Postage going up in the middle of a swap is kind of a quirky thing - shouldn't happen too often unless our post office starts upping the price (like the gas stations do!!) every few weeks.
As far as being timely, I'm sure we all wish we could be on time--I don't think anyone really *wants* to be late sending gifts off to their cyber-friends. Maybe in the future if we have multiple groups, instead of assigning specific people to specific groups, the first 10 received could be swapped right away when they're received, and the last 10 (presumably procrastinators) could all be swapped out whenever they arrive. Just another thought.

I agree though, 18 boxes worth of additional postage (sunshine is in both groups, so there's 2 boxes that don't get mailed) adds up quickly. I sent some extra money for my extra postage--I think I sent $9, and the new rate for the flat rate box is $8.85 instead of $8.10. .75 increase per box for 18 boxes is $13.50. Maybe all of us who mailed late should send Sunshine a couple of bucks to cover the additional postage. It's not fair for her to have to pay the extra $$ for our lateness, especially when she's so gracious to volunteer to host these swaps!!

You know I don't actually mind if a swap gets late as long as everyone understands that everyone is human you can make a commitment and things fall through because of illness or other circumstance's beyond your control. I am realistic enough to know I didn't pay shipping to myself and back and even though we don't have a paycheck at my house that is fine with me I agreed to host and am happy to do it not a problem. Just so we know when I was reffering to the amount of the extra postage I was referring to celebrate2727 sending extra to mail everything separate I wasn't complaining for me I was worried about her. As what she has made is a real nice item and a lot of work goes into it. By the sounds of it I mail them today without hers. So you will be getting nine things in the mail in the box I send and hers will come later from her. celebrate2727 I will hold yours till everyone tells me they have an items from you does that seem fair.
