I'm trying to figure out how to make an image into a link. Does anyone know how to do this?
Take, for instance, this banner:
I'd like it to link back to one of my blogs. I've pulled up a website that is trying to help me. Evidentally, I'm helpless...or hopeless...as I can't even get a simple 'email' link to work, let alone a photo image.
I have a flickr account, it's an online photo sharing site. If you upload the photo to flickr, it will automatically give you either a URL or HTML format and then you can copy and paste it where you want to. It's free to join.

Tracey, you have to use photobucket when you do this. Flickr will not allow their photos to be used in a link outside their web site UNLESS it links back to that photo's photopage. So use PhotoBucket. Vintage Chicka gave you good code. You want to copy the URL for your photobucket pic, and then put <img src=" in front of it. Then put "> at the end of it. THEN you have what vintage chica calls "image info" in her code.
Thanks! Since the banner was parked on flickr and it wasn't working, I didn't know if it was me or flickr! I'll give it a try once I move it over to photobucket.
Tracey, when a red x appears it means that the actual location of the image is incorrect in the code. I would double check the img src code to make sure you have it right. I dont use photobucket, so Im not sure how to get it to do what you want, but they might have different versions of html code.
