I am in search of a few small fabric pumpkins like you would put in a basket. They can be any Fall fabric...orange or the buffalo check that you see so much of nowadays!!! I don't sew...therefore I can't make them...An assortment would be fine. Please let me know what I could barter you for a few of them...
Hugs!

I was going to try and make some as soon as I finish my swap project. If they turn out, I will let you know. LOL!

I just saw a few fabric pumpkins at the dollar store today, about 4,5 inches with stems... They were cute... deep color solid fabric, sort of velvety fabric, if I remember correctly. Let me know if I can help... I'm sure Linda's pumpkins will be gorgeous!

Hobby lobby has a lot of pumpkins and they are on sale this week. They may be available on line.

Judy, one year, while working with kindergarten kids we made pumpkins! All you need is a square of fabric, I remember cutting the fabric, but don't remember how big the squares were . 15", 18"? or 20"?? Go to your walmart to look at fat quarters. Choose a few different ones. Then you need together some rolls of toilet tissue and a stick for each one, from outside. Now to assemble...place the tissue on the fabric in the center. Bring up the four corners and stuff them into the hollow Center tube. Continue working around the tissue until all Of the fabric edges are in the tube. Now put the stem in. It will help hold the fabric in place. These are really cute...so simple easy, fast, and when autumn is over, just remove the fabric, put the tissue in the bathroom, toss the stick. WA la...your all cleaned up! I put mine on the back of the toilet. You can embellish with a leaf or two.

I've made those, too, Marilyn. Easy peasy! And the fabric is then reusable after the fall season - and the TP is usable, too. LOL!

Marilyn, those sound easy and adorable!! I am going to try doing a few. They would be cute in a bowl too.
