Sometimes we just get so busy that we forget to take time for a much needed Girl friend Fix..
So I have invited 5 of my local gal pals, including my daughter, over for a 'Nibbles & Wine' get together..
I am setting up a Charcuetery (sp) platter, and because it's to stinking hot to bake, I bought Ice cream and toppings,, for us to make our own personal Sundeas...
Also have several bottles of Wine, as well as Iced Coffee and Iced Tea ready for tonite.
Instead of using Wine Glass Charms, I made 6 Wine glass Booties, 1 for each guest, to identify their wine/iced tea glass and to take home as a gift.
Hubby said he and our Ginger pup will hide out in the Motorhome and watch TV.. so we gals can be silly.
He is such a great hubby...
I look forward to this get together,, we've all had our vaccinations,, and are looking forward to getting together.. heck,, it will be fun to put on lipstick again!

Sounds like a fix we ALL need right now! Hope it was a wonderful time - I'm sure it was!
(All of my girlfriends are out of town on vacation! VACATION!!! But I thank you muchly for the inspiration - will have to try to get together once they're all back in state! My deck furniture hasn't been in good use in ages!)

Well,, I have to tell you,, it was such fun and good therapy to gather up,, nosh on nibblets, enjoy a libation and chat about "the good old days"...
It was for sure a dose of Vitamin-F.. F for friends...
We had such a lovely evening that we decided to have another one next month at Leann's..,, who knows,, maybe this will become a monthly thing...
So,, gather up with a friend or friends,, be silly,,, and get you Girlfriend Fix...
btw: the reason for no photos,, we agreed to not post pics..

My goodness that sounds like so much fun but I'm afraid it will have to wait until after my cataract surgery. Right now I can't read the road signs and I'd probably end up in any one of the three Podunks in the U.S.

Jean, you do sound like you have some must have visit spots out there in Deary! Judith, I have to fly out so just catch you a plane up to Spokane and I will meet you there and we will carry onward to Jean and then Grace's place! Let Delta or whatever you fly do all the sign readin' . I got you covered when you get there.

Judith,,, Just tell the Pilot to to strap a parachute on you and drop you off over Medical Lake,,, then you and I will go pick up Winnie at the Spokane Airport and drive on down to Jeans,, she lives about a 3hr drive from me... we can hit a few Thrift shops on the way down and the when we are down drinking all of Jeans Lemoncello.. then we'll All head back to my place,, with a few more Thrift store stops,,, and then we can sit out by the trailer,,, and soak our tootsies in $-store tubs and imbide in wine and then paint our toe nails a garrish lime green or funky orange! lol!... lol!

Grace, I think these plans would be a hoot!! Judith, how are you with heights? I am not sure I could jump out of a plane… the Flight Attendant would have to push me out!! LOL!! But thrift store shopping with Grace would be great as she always finds cool stuff! I am packing my suitcase light so I can take back lots of treasures as a we make our way down and back to Jean’s place. I need to look into some new flip flops to show off those lime green or orange toes! Here in Florida , we call lime green or orange toes just an everyday occurrence!

Hahahahahahahaha . . . . luv y'ALL . . . . we could make it work . . . maybe even fork over some $$ and spend a night at Mary Jane's B&B. It's just down the road from me. She's been to the Pie Safe Bakery but she's gotta go to Reb's Fab Stash with us. Let me know when to make the appointment there for our group.

Haha.. I get lost every time I drove out to her place...lol! once in my small motor home (long time ago) and then again with a care load of gals for an afternoon at the farm.. we had to stop 2x, and also tried to call the farm for directions.. lol! and No we were not a car load of Blonds,, I was the only blond! lolol!
