Would it be OK to start a flickr group for members of MJs Farm to post photos and such. I would of course provide a link back to the main index page. (not the forums) I thought it might be a nice place to "house" all of our photos. Several of us are going to be working on taking better digital photos and blogging. Just wanted to check before I did it.

Hi Eren. Yes, I think that would be okay, but not sure what you mean about the "main index page." I think it should link to the "farmgirl connection" page at http://www.maryjanesfarm.org/farmgirl-connection/. I'm just about to update that page to make it more informative - and fun!

By the way, MaryJane was thinking about having music play at some point in your shopping experience on our website. What do you think of that? We'd love feedback from you all!

Ooooh. Music to shop by. What could be better?! How about playing some of your local musicians? :)

I think music on the site would be o.k. as long as the customer has the option to turn the music off if they wish.
I have been to too many sites that play music that after a while becomes quite annoying as it loops over and over on the same thing..making the shopping experience..well...a bit non relaxing actually ...to hear the same thing repeated over and over.

Maybe an option to play the music then...music that loads automatically, drives me nutso sometimes.

OK, here is the link...let me know if you have any changes. I want to change the icon, but other than that I think it is set.

Music on websites? I don't care for it. I click away as soon as it starts. Turning it off, or even on, would be a good alternative.

I wouldn't mind hearing the musicians that you offer for sale...
Charlie is wonderful! But an on/off option would be good for those that don't.

As I guess is the case with most Farmgirls, I would like the music if it was to my personal taste. Which, of course, is pretty impossible to do with so many different types of Farmgirls out there.

How about some sounds "From The Farm," from Mother Nature herself? You know, a rooster crowing, some hens clucking, a sheep baa-ing (is that a word?), the sound of the wind through leaves, babbling brooks, etc. I think that would be cool!

And Eren, I really like the idea of a MJ group on Flicker. Great idea!

Hi Eren.
Your page on flickr looks great. We always spell our name MaryJanesFarm (all one word, no apostrophe), so could you change that throughout the page? Then, since you say "for more information on MJF, etc.", I think we CAN link to our homepage, just www.maryjanesfarm.org.

And thanks everyone else for your comments about music - keep them comin'!

Thank you all for your edits on the flickr group. I should have it ready to go this afternoon.
