I do not own a dough bowl. Didn't want to buy new. So, had a look around the Goodwill and found this. An Ellinegr's Agatized bowl. (Had to go to Google to see what that was) This one is 11 1/2" across and is sold for $24.00. I'm thrilled with my $1.99 find. But....do I leave the finish as is, or give it a more rustic, well-loved color/finish?

LOL! I'm sure my vacation will be relaxing - the amenities at the time shares are all closed (spas, clubhouses, game rooms, etc) so we will be playing games we bring. We have bean bag toss and a frisbee toss game. LOL! I am also bringing cards, a couple games, a book or two, and some sewing projects and machine in case of rainy weather. Another couple is meeting us there and will be in their own unit. We will be social distancing and wearing masks. We may play some games together - have to see.

Ed and I just booked a cruise for February. I know - it is iffy, and Carnival may cancel it, like many others, but then we will get our money back. In fact, this was mostly paid for from our credit from the April cruise out of Spain that was cancelled. I asked if the cruise line was limiting the number of passengers, and the cruise person I spoke with said that they were, but he didn't know exactly how much. The cruise we are going on also has a group going (and Ed knows the organizer) and it is a Gospel Music group. We may go to one or two of their events, but may not. I have the cruise insurance, so if we cancel before Nov. 9, we can get most everything back. Have to see how things go.

Here in TN I have seen lots of dough bowls in antique shops and though very nice looking they are expensive. I know the one I have is not old, but the same size I paid $22 for is $75 for an old one.
