Can you believe it's going to be August in a few days??? This year is going by at warp speed and I didnt even get a mini vaca!! But you know, it's a year so far I'll never ever forget!!! So I've been seeing a lot of these campers and RV's cruising up and down our main highways on this season. Because of corona people are getting outdoors more with their families. A positive for sure! So how about before schools starts let take a vintage camping trip via our ATC's!
As always, one per swap, tucks not required. You may create with any type of medium. Just keep them at the requirements provided, ok? I love how creative and talented you farmsister are!
Sign ups until the 17th of August, partners assigned on the 18th and mail out is right away! Any questions just pop me an email! Have a blast creating these little pieces of art!
Artist trading cards (ATCs) are miniature pieces of art that are traded around the world. Artists create, trade and collect art at organized "swap" events, either in person or online. The only official rule for ATCs is the size: 2.5" x 3.5". Artist Trading Cards are the same format as modern trading cards (hockey cards or baseball cards). Alternately you may choose to use a round ATC Coin of 2.5" diameter. They are self-made unique works or small series, signed and dated on the reverse by the artist/producer, exchanged and collected by the people who participate in the collaborative performance.
Artist Trading Cards (ATCs) are a conceptual art project initiated by the Swiss artist M. Vanci Stirnemann. He called it a Collaborative Cultural Performance. In 1997 he created 1200 cards by hand as part of an exhibit. On the last day, he invited others to create their own cards and trade with him during the closing reception. The movement took off, and today, there are ATC swaps in almost every major city around the world!
You can make ATCs with many different media including paper, fabric, felt, metal, wood, clay, paint, stamps, embellishments and more. There are tons of ideas and inspiration available online if you google ATC or Artist Trading Cards.

Jill, we are so happy to have a seasoned ATC collector here! I know Connie, Marilyn and the others collect all theirs also! I have 2 small easels on my China cabinet where I put my favorite ones on display! I'd love to build or buy a huge frame and frame them all!!

Did you have a reaction to the sleepy meds or is the pain the problem? Are you taking your pain meds?
My husband can not take some of them.

The anesthesia tore me up Marilyn! I heaved until 830 that night, then was so sick for last 2 days! Dizzy and nauseated. I did NOT take the pain pills because it would have made my stomach so much worse so I've been tolerating the pain. Watching funny animal videos, drinking carrot juice and lots of water! Ate some asparagus too to help flush everything out. Its beginning to work!! :) Dr. Diannas home rememdy!

You sound like me...home remedies are the best! One day my hubby asked why we had not gotten sick with the virus...I told him that our immune systems are pretty strong plus we immediately began taking liposomal vitamin C, D3, and zinc to boost it more. Then they told us to stay at home. As much as possible.
Im Praying that God will give you relief and healing. My pain usually subsided by the fourth day after they stabilized the bone.

I've never done anything like this, but if a novice's work would be acceptable, I'd like to join. It sounds fun and very interesting. Would anyone who has a collection mind posting a picture so I have a visual of the directions given, please? I love crafty creative stuff, but sometimes I need a kick start by seeing something to put mine in gear. If you know what I mean. lol Dianna, don't know what you had done and that doesn't matter, but just want to let you know, I will say prayers for your recovery and complete healing.
