I have received such beautiful squares since joining this group. I have used one to make the tin can wind sock. I have used several in a tied fabric garland which is displayed proudly on my back porch. I cannot wait to get a quilt put together. All of you are so generous and gracious and I thank all of you for being a part of my life. Warmest regards and sisterly love.

Beth

When I read posts in the neighborhood swap here there are a lot of comments about the mail not getting to where it is going correctly. I just checked again and yours and Beth's are not there. I'm sure they will be along shortly. A neighbor brought me a piece of mail that was in her box for me the other day. Perhaps another neighbor has it.

Well I did go back to wa!Mart this am. No one offered me a mask. In fact I did not see any! I just said Good Morning to the two men who seemed to be doing the greeting and counting, and walked in the store. My husband said he needed a bandana and was about to buy one for $2. I told him I had one in my tote bag! Which I fished out and gave to him...as I said now all you need is a gun.( I'm not sure He thought I was funny ny.) He already had a mask on.
When I found the crafting area I did notice they had two brother sewing machines and one brother serger. Each was $200. I also noticed they only have two of the larger cutting mats left. They had nine about two weeks ago. Fabric...that is the problem for me. They did have a few fat quarters. And by reaching up on top of a high end cap..I found some one yard cuts of Christmas prints.I

I believe you are right Terri. When every sewing machine was gone pretty soon after the lock down began, along with all of the fat quarters and most of the one yard cuts and almost all of the yarn..I knew lots of folks were bored.

Thank You ladies for all the beautiful squares. Looking forward to making a tablecloth out of these this winter.

Thank you ladies. I think I need to pick up a cutting matt. I do have 2 rotary cutter. The John Deere material was a scrap of material that I think we inherited from Great Aunt Pat. I do not know where she would have gotten it from. (Sorry).

Thank you ladies, I am not sure what I will be doing with these wonderful squares. I am considering a couple masks for school.
Thanks again they are all wonderful. My friend is a retired FFA teacher though I doubt they ever truly retire, they are some of our first "distance teachers" answering questions from home. I will have to make something for him from that square.

I've been using some of this month's fabric along with odds and ends to make patchwork squares that will become a boys quilt. Thats Oskar Meyer, my dachshund near the top.
