Ida Jean, I got to the post office early! R Funny story...I got there at 8:15 and there were only two other vehicles. Well that is awesome, I thought. So I got my cane, my two puffy packages and my tote bag and inside the Post Office I went....only problem They don't open until 9am on Saturdays! I've been to the post on Saturdays before. But upon thinking it over, I determined that it is usually ten or so! So I went to get back in my car, called my hubby. He did not answer! Twice! That was a concern because he falls a lot. So I drove back to home. He was fine, had been outside doing chores. Then we got ourselves in the car, went to pick up the grand a d he drove me back to the Post office...where I mailed your package. It is scheduled to arrive at your house on Wednesday. I will be checking on it.

I'm sorry it took so long, but here is the photo of the wind sock that Ida Jean made for me. It is so bright outside I came back inside to get the photo. Isn't it pretty? The sea shells on the sand colored can, covered by the fishermans net and then the glistening streamers. It looks really pretty when the breeze blows it about.

I got your pkg today and I Love it. I too love sunflowers. when ya said ya like how they always look to the sun, it reminded me of one of my favorite sayings to lift one when they're down...."Look toward the sun and the shadows will fall behind ya !" Luv the bookmark too !!!

I’m so happy Rebecca it made it to you. The mail service is so erratic. I was getting concerned. Again thank you for your beautiful creation. It will reside in my bedroom. The colors match perfectly & it makes me smile....

They are fun to make. And in this time when some stores don't have as much stock...it "forces" us to check out, and use some of our own supplies.

Connie I checked The tracking on yours this morning, it shows it left Louisville Kentucky on the 7th and all it says now is in transit and arriving late. Grrrr why do we pay for priority postage if this is going to happen. Hopefully it finds it way to you soon.

Your package arrived a day early!!! Yeah for the USPS !! Your second trip to the post office paid off. The windsock is so cute and vintage. I love how you used so many different materials for the streamers and the embroidered dresser scarf - too precious to hang outside. The buttons make it so interesting and the extra buttons appreciated. Even if I don't add them to the streamers - how can you have too many buttons? My husband already confiscated the cloths for his bar towels. I will surely enjoy the windsock hanging on my pergola dancing in the wind.
