We recently decided to pursue homeschooling, especially with all the recent school changes from the virus. This coming fall will be both of my boys second year of preschool. Have any of you homeschooled for preschool or pre-k? If so, which program, books, or resources did you use? I’m wanting to do as much research as I can before I make an official decision.
Krista- I educated all four of my kids at home from pre-K through high school. I would suggest looking at Five in a Row. It is a literature-based program that will teach you how to teach your kids. I would also take a look at their nature study resources. fiveinarow.com

Sandy, thank you so much! I will check it out and let you know if I have any questions.
When my girls were preschool we used Letter of the Day. It was inexpensive and I could get most of the books at the library. I have friends that used Five in a Row and just loved it. They used to have a nice website for Before five in a row.

I quickly glanced at the five in a row on Wednesday and it looks like there are multiple editions now. Based on my kids ages they would need the Before five in a row. Is this program based around stories? As well as bible teachings? Just want to make sure I’m understanding correctly.
