Pretty good. There are two homeless encampments in the nearby park. There are a few problems with standards of behavior and, on the whole, the camps are run as well as the volunteers can. I go onsite to pick of trash and recycling. The June tea is on the way.

Yes, it is pretty safe. All the grocery stores that weren't burned are open. The other stores will take a long time to recover.

Vanessa...I have your teas all ready. I even took them to the Post office to mail. I had plastered stamps all over the envelope. Then I thought that I should ask the man who was weighing another swap package, if I had enough stamps on yours...as I turned it Over I saw that I had failed to put your address on it. So it came back home with me. I will get it to the Post office this evening or tomorrow.

I received a lovely package from Hannah.

I love the envelope. I am in such a rush that I never take time to REALLY make my envelopes memorable. The letter was very comforting. I will use the silver spoon for my tea. The size is just right for how much honey I want in each cup. The recipe is for Raisin Scones which will go nicely with the tea. A packet of alyssum seeds was sent. There are my favorite ground cover. Hannah made a red/white/blue coaster. Very nice work. And THE TEAS: Tazo Vanilla Bean Macaron, Pukka Love, Lipton Stress Less and St Dalfour Golden Mango Green Tea. I have never tried any of these. This will be a treat.
