HI,
I am trying to figure out how to get involved in more things. I got a wonderful post card from a sister the other day, and it really made my day. I am not sure how to best jump in to the fray. Any advice would be welcome. Thanks so much.

Welcome Beth from northeast Texas. As how to get around on the Farm I would suggest reading the posts and jump in when a topic interests you. I have learned so much from reading what others post. I'll be looking for you around the Farm.

Greetings Beth from a holler in West Virginia. I bet that post card was from Winnie in Florida. She is a lovely, sweet lady---as all of MJF ladies. Tell us all your troubles and all your interests. No one judges you here. A nut job like me is even allowed to be a sister. Just be yourself and post many posts. I live in southern West Virginia so that makes me weirder than those yuppies up next to DC. LOL.

Thanks all--I am originally from Ohio, so hello to former neighbors. I am loving northern California. My husband and I bought .5 acres in the woods. We put in a garden and I am still hoping for a chicken coop. Wanting to quit my regular job and start selling my crafts online and producing enough eggs and vegetables to participate in our local farmer's market. YOu have all bee so encouraging. I appreciate all the kind words. Thanks!

I love your plans for creating a wonderful life! Last year we got chickens. I had missed having them for over ten years. They are such a joy!
