Hi Grace---I know you are hanging in there---me too. I told you there were some replicated Nancy Drew books and I read one too. It was fun and an easy read---put me back to good childhood memories! Such fun. Thank-you for making me feel like a child again. And so sorry about your beloved Aunt. I always read and know. life is hard---but on and on we go. Hope camping comes around soon!

I love Nancy Drew. I have a collection of them and I always remember the last one I read so I can pick up where I left off.

It has been so many years since I read Nancy Drew, but I always enjoyed mystery stories as a child and still do. Currently, I am reading some of the murder mysteries by Rita Mae Brown & her cat Sneaky Pie Brown, aka Mrs. Murphy in the book. They take place in Crozet, Virginia, which is just outside Charlottesville where I grew up. There are many references to all the places in the area that were all part of my childhood. Plus, the story is told through the eyes of Mrs. Murphy and Tucker T, the Welsh Corgi, who are the pets of the main character, Mary Hairisteen. These stories are so much fun to read and the animal perspectives are just hilarious too.
Did anyone ever read the Tea Shop mysteries by Laura Childs? They are also fantastic and each book includes recipes from the Tea Shop cafe.

Ohhh,, RTG.. I might have to check out those books,,, when our Library finally does re-open... not to mention,, Thrift shops,, a great source for books that don't cost an arm & a leg & 3 pints of blood! lolol!
Denise,, I use a fabric book cover that I made,, on the current book I am reading and then put it back on the shelf, upside down when finished... that way I know which books have been read.. I have a rather skattered brain, and need all the help I can get! lolol!
