Since it was to cold and windy out today,, I didn't get to play in my garden.. 'sew' instead I did some sewing...

I cut out fabric circles, sewed sewed them and assembled those YoYos... out of some MaryJane Butters fabric...

I made a 11 x 19 mini table topper...

Pink-n-Green...means Spring!

Wonder what mischief I will get into this weekend, since it is suppose to rain both Sat & Sun...

I like the colors; pink and green are a great combination.

I always have to have something to work on while sitting in the evening. Lately I've been doing wool appliqué and embroidery. One of the former orphan kittens seems to think wool is catnip and tries his best to steal appliqués pieces. I promised him I wold make him a wool catnip mouse as soon as I get the current quilt in progress off the sewing machine.

Are people hoarding catnip too???

I am sure it is hit and miss... and I will find some,, but the particular one I buy thru Chewys has been out of stock for awhile...

With all this social distancing, humans are turning to liquor and cats are turning to catnip. Our cats get organic homegrown. Make a space in your new garden for some but cover it somehow so it doesn't get destroyed.

I like the "cage" idea to protect the major part of the plant.. I might use some left over chicken wire to create the cage.
